Early Broncos, F100s and air-cooled Porsche are what we're known for. They're not all we build. Austin-area owners drive in to our shop in Leander, and builds ship in from across the country.

Pick one and the form fills itself in. If none of them fit, call. That's normal too.
Here's what all of it is for. Pick your Saturday.
6:40
The key turns and it starts on the first try, same as yesterday. You don’t check the forecast first anymore. The top comes off.
7:15
Kids in the back. Nobody asks whether it’ll make it there and back.
10:30
A dirt road you’d have skipped in the old truck. Not today.
1:00
A guy at the gas station asks about it. You know every part on it, because you signed off on every line of the build sheet.
5:45
Back in the garage. Nothing to fix, nothing to remember to tell the shop on Monday.
That's the whole point. A car you trust enough to just drive.
Start yours
Weston, who owns the shop, and his boys
This is the part nobody puts on a spec sheet. A truck you trust gets you out the door on a Saturday, down to the beach at sunset, to the places you kept telling the kids you'd go someday. Those are the days they remember. Someday it's the truck they ask for.
Every build leaves here with a binder of every receipt and a drive full of photos from teardown to the first drive, so the story goes with the keys.
"That's just how they drive."
No, it isn't.
You'll hear it all over the Bronco world. Cam disagrees. A fifty-year-old truck can steer straight, stop hard and start every morning. Getting it there is the job.
See what yours could drive likeEarly Ford Broncos and air-cooled Porsche are what people come to us for. They're not the only things that go on the lift, and none of it stops at the Texas line.
Frame-off builds on a Kincer chassis with Coyote, LS, Godzilla or R2.8 Cummins power. The body comes off, everything comes apart, and what goes back on is new.
Restomod Bronco builds
Stock-correct restoration and track prep on 911, 930, 964 and 993, plus service on modern 911s. Cam ran a race shop, so corner balancing and torsion bars are ordinary Tuesday work.
Porsche repair and service in Austin
F100s with a Crown Vic chassis swap, Corvettes, one-off fabrication, and the half-finished project another shop couldn't close out. Same process either way.
Custom builds and engine swapsWe'll build anything, but we have a love for early Broncos and Porsche.
Planning a wedding or a photo shoot? We rent early Broncos, and we do the driving. See Bronco rentals
Every build is some combination of these. Most owners come in wanting one and leave having done three.
Frame-off on Broncos and F100s. Stock-correct on air-cooled Porsche, which is unibody and gets treated that way. Everything apart, everything photographed, and you approve the build sheet before a wrench turns.
Early Bronco restorationCoyote, LS, Godzilla and R2.8 Cummins. Mounts, wiring, cooling, fuel and driveline handled as one job, not an engine dropped in and handed back for someone else to sort out.
Early Bronco engine swapsKincer chassis, coilovers and disc conversions on the truck side. Corner balancing, spring plates and torsion bars on the Porsche side. Modern steering and stopping under vehicles that came with neither.
Early Bronco chassis swapsOne-off brackets, mounts, crossmembers and panel work. When a swap needs a part nobody sells, we make it here instead of building around what's in a catalog.
Custom builds and fabricationAir-cooled service, repair and track prep on 911, 930, 964 and 993, plus modern 911s. Routine maintenance stays local to the Austin area. Builds and track work ship in from anywhere.
Porsche repair in AustinHalf-built trucks that stalled at another shop are a regular part of the work. We find every issue, write it down, give you the number, and get it moving again.
Just one job? Brakes, A/C, an interior, a noise you're tired of driving around. No job is too small. Paint and body go to a shop we trust, and we'll tell you which one.

Under-dash wiring routed clean. Fuel lines and attachment points that don't fail. Nobody will ever look under there. We do it anyway.
Two at a time
That's the whole schedule
One or two major builds at a time, on purpose. Yours gets worked on instead of waiting under a cover, by the same hands from teardown to delivery.
And how you'll use it: weekend driver, show car, track car, or something you hand down. If the budget and the build don't line up, you hear it on the first call.
Start step oneScope, parts, budget and order of work, written down and approved before a wrench turns. Teardown comes first because that's where the surprises live, and anything it finds gets priced before we go further.
Photos as the work happens. At least 150 shakedown miles. Then a walkthrough against the build sheet you approved, a binder of every receipt, and a USB drive of the whole build.
Cam Musgrove runs the shop floor. He came up through GM training, worked with Pratt Miller in professional motorsport, and was running his own Corvette race shop before he turned 21.
He was a lead technician and crew chief for an IMSA team that won multiple championships. In 2022 he and Gumby at Speed Lab Performance built the first running, driving 7.3 Godzilla early Bronco in 26 days and showed it at Ford Fest.
His proudest is Harold, a supercharged Coyote Bronco with a Tremec six-speed. He's finished about 15 early Broncos so far.
There's no service desk. Whoever picks up the phone has had hands on your build, or can walk twenty feet and ask the person who has.
Broncos. TSTC automotive graduate, eight years in the trade.
Fabrication and engine swaps. Five years of swaps and restorations.
The first thing Cam asks isn't about parts.
It's "What's the dream?"
Then whether you've ever driven one, how often you'll drive it, and what the budget is. The parts list comes after all that.
Tell him yours"Cam and his team did a great job on setting up my 911SC suspension. It's obvious Cam has great knowledge and experience with these air cooled Porsches."
"Cam was very quick to get me a quote and communicated with me throughout the entire process. If you're looking for an honest reliable shop these guys are it."
"It's refreshing to find someone who actually cares about your car equally or more than you do."
Early Bronco work here starts around $65,000. That covers a full driveline cleanup and reseal, an EFI conversion and new suspension. Full custom frame-off builds have run about $300,000.
Parts are paid up front. Full builds are billed every two weeks. We don't offer financing. The full breakdown is on the restomod Bronco builds page.
Get your numberTimes assume parts are in stock. Porsche numbers follow the inspection, not a menu, and you get yours before anything comes apart.
You don't have to live here to build with us. Most of what leaves this shop goes somewhere else.
We help line up enclosed or open transport both ways and price the haul into the quote, so it isn't a surprise later.
Come out at teardown, when we've found what's under the paint, and again at delivery. If you'd rather not travel, we'll walk you through it on video.
Photos as the work happens, and a phone call before we spend money on anything you didn't approve.
It gets at least 150 shakedown miles before it gets a trailer. A truck that's never been driven is a truck nobody has finished.

About six months for a simpler swap and eight to nine months for a full frame-off. Heavy custom work can run past a year. Air-cooled Porsche engine work can also run long, because machining and parts lead times are long across the whole industry.
No. Most people don't. Tell us what you're starting with and how you want to drive it, and we'll lay out the options that fit your budget.
No. Most full builds start on a purpose-built chassis from Kincer Chassis or Roadster Shop, and the vehicle you want goes on top: a Corvette, a C10, a Camaro, a Mustang or a first-gen Bronco. Tell us what you have in mind and we'll tell you straight whether it's a job for us.
Yes. Modern 911s, 996 through current, go to the same technicians on the same equipment as the air-cooled cars, scheduled maintenance included. See Porsche repair and service in Austin.
Yes. F100s and other classic trucks are a big part of the work here, including Kincer Chassis 4WD conversions, Crown Vic chassis swaps and engine swaps. They get the same process as a Bronco: a written plan and a real number before anything comes apart.
Paint and body go to an outside shop, and we tell you which one up front. Everything else happens here.
No. We source everything that goes into a build, so we can stand behind it. If a part fails two thousand miles later, nobody has to argue about whose fault it was.

We're in Leander, twenty to thirty minutes north of downtown Austin. Full builds come in from across the country, and we help line up transport both ways.
It's fine if you don't have it all figured out. That's what the first call is for. You'll hang up knowing what fits, what it costs and what comes next.
