Ford 7.3L Godzilla - Our personal favorite!

The Godzilla isn't the fanciest engine Ford has ever built, and that's exactly why people love it.

It's big, simple, powerful, and built like a tank. With 430 horsepower and a stump-pulling 475 lb-ft of torque, the Godzilla delivers the kind of low-end power that makes a vintage Bronco feel effortless whether you're cruising town, climbing a hill, or just showing off a little at a stoplight.

The best part? It's designed to be simple. No complicated overhead cams, no unnecessary drama. Just a big Ford V8 doing big Ford V8 things. And if 430 horsepower somehow isn't enough, a few simple upgrades can push it well past 500 horsepower.

In short: It's basically a giant, reliable V8 that wakes up every morning and chooses violence.

Ford called it Godzilla for a reason.

Bronco Owner Important Stuff

  • 430 HP
  • 475 lb-ft of torque
  • Simple pushrod design
  • Legendary V8 rumble
  • Huge upgrade potential

Coyote 5.0L

The Gen 4X loves RPM almost as much as Bronco owners love modifications!

Packs 460 horsepower of Ford's V8 magic into a package built specifically for engine swaps. It's lighter than the Godzilla, loves to rev, and has enough modern technology to make your old Bronco think it has the heart of a 2024 Mustang GT.

The best part? One throttle body, a tuneable ECU and less wrestling under the hood with more time spent driving. This lightweight aluminum block, and modern swap-friendly engineering is smooth, fast, and ridiculously fun.

It's smooth enough to drive to dinner, but one stab of the throttle and it'll have you taking the long way home. Every. Single. Time.

Reality… Ford built the Coyote for the Mustang, but deep down… we're pretty sure Broncos stole the idea.

302/306MAX Bronco Edition

Built for smiles per gallon! Not everybody needs 500 horsepower. Sometimes you just want to turn the key and have a good time.

The BluePrint 302 Bronco Edition (306MAX) is the small block Ford we all know and love, just purposely modified to generate peak low-end torque to be a little stronger, a little smoother, and a whole lot more reliable for your Bronco.

With 365 horsepower and 365 lb-ft of torque, it's got plenty of pep for cruising, trail riding, and having a little bit of fun on the road!

Sure, bigger engines exist… But this one is big enough to be exciting. Small enough to stay out of trouble… probably. Might just be the sweet spot for a classic Bronco.

LS Swap

The LS swap is proof that Bronco owners and Chevy owners actually have one thing in common… they both love a good V8.

Budget-friendly 5.3L or an all-out 6.2L powerhouse, the LS has earned its reputation for making big power, being easy to modify, and fitting into just about anything with four wheels BUT - everyone will hate you!

There's an LS for just about every budget. Want a junkyard hero? Go 5.3L. Want to make your Bronco question the laws of physics? Step up to a 6.2L or 7.0L.

In simple terms: It's affordable, powerful, and ridiculously popular for a reason.

Just remember, the hood closes and nobody has to know.
